The Hexcell Single Phase Prepaid/Postpaid Electricity Meter (STS DDSY1088/DDS1088) is a high-accuracy active energy metering device that uses secure digital media for information exchange. Users purchase electricity in advance through a vending system, receive a 20-digit STS TOKEN, and load the credit into the meter via the numeric keypad (or the external CIU keypad for split-type installations). This enables reliable active energy metering and prepaid control. Prepaid and postpaid modes can be switched as needed.
The meter supports flexible external communication modules—including RS485, LoRa, PLC, 2G/4G, M-Bus and LoRaWAN—allowing remote connection to AMI systems. Different power supply configurations enable separate or individual metering to suit various installation requirements.
Designed for residential communities, apartments, factories, shopping malls, office buildings, hotels and photovoltaic power stations, the Hexcell STS DDSY1088/DDS1088 meter delivers accurate measurement, anti-tamper protection, multi-tariff capability and long-term reliability under international IEC and STS standards.
