Single-phase STS prepaid electric energy meter is an active energy metering instrument that uses digital media as the information exchange medium, and the user installs the pre-purchased electricity and settles the electricity consumption with the electricity. The user purchases the electricity through the power purchase device to obtain the TOKEN of the 20-digit serial number, loads the pre-purchased power, and enters the TOKEN into the meter through the numeric keypad interface (the split meter can also be connected to the keyboard interface of the external CIU) to realize the metering and prepaid control functions of active energy. Prepaid and postpaid can be switched. The external module of the meter can be remotely connected to the AMI system by selecting the appropriate communication mode (RS485, LoRa, PLC, 2G/4G, MBus, LoRaWAN etc) .Separate and individual metering can be achieved through different power supply methods.
