The Three Phase Multiple Power Supply Electricity Meter (STS DTSY1088/DTS1088) is an advanced three-phase prepaid smart energy meter designed for residential, commercial, industrial, and utility applications. It combines high-accuracy active energy measurement, STS-certified prepaid electricity management, flexible communication options, and AMI system integration to support modern smart grid requirements.
Based on the STS (Standard Transfer Specification) prepaid metering technology, users can purchase electricity and receive a secure 20-digit TOKEN through a vending system. By entering the TOKEN through the meter keypad or external Customer Interface Unit (CIU), the meter activates the purchased energy credit and provides accurate prepaid electricity control.
Hexcell's three-phase STS prepaid meter supports both prepaid and postpaid operation modes, allowing utilities to flexibly manage different customer billing scenarios. With optional communication modules including RS485, PLC, GPRS/4G, LoRa, LoRaWAN, and MBus, the meter can connect with AMI platforms for remote monitoring, data collection, tariff management, and intelligent energy management.
